Keyboard and mouse support: a controller is required
The Steam listing explicitly says a controller is required and keyboard-and-mouse play is unsupported. Plan to use a compatible controller. No verified keyboard-and-mouse mod or officially supported workaround is included in this guide.

What the store actually promises
Full controller support describes playing with a controller; it does not imply that keyboard controls are also implemented. Steam’s separate required-controller notice is the relevant compatibility condition.
A computer meeting the CPU and GPU specifications can still be an unsuitable purchase if you cannot use the required input device. Check both hardware and controls before deciding.
What a community mod request cannot prove
Players asking for keyboard support establish demand, not that the feature exists. This guide does not recommend an unverified mod, controller emulator or remapping recipe as a supported solution. If that support changes, the official notice and a demonstrable working method are the evidence needed to update the recommendation.
